Photos of Joe Spring true story that inspired the movie Eight Days to Live
dear joe, my family and I watched your movie today from on demand.Your movie really opened our eyes about safe driving, and how important our families mean to us. Its good to see that you are doing well. god bless you and your family. love, MADDY from the Gambino family
This is an awesome story about family love and also a learning tool for internet safety--you never know who you will be meeting from an online chat. If Joe had just gotten in his car and left when he got to that nasty girls house he would have been safe. Glad to know all is well now.
My fiance and I just watched this movie. Thank God for your safe recovery. Your family was dedicated and this is what help save Joe. I feel many more missing people would be found if searches aren't ended so soon.
Rules are made to be broken, and thanks to the lady who insisted on continuing the search spite having been told not to, you were reunited with your family.
After watching the movie and crying my eyes out I made my 3 teenage kids watch it just so they could see the importance of always telling us where they are and who they are with and most importantly how important family really is.I am so glad this story had a happy ending. thank god there are people out there that just wont give up.
WELL thank the Lord , Joe, He was watching over you. My husband and i watched your movie tonight. Just a week ago we were driving from Creston to Cranbrook, following behind a gold Blazer when the vehicle swerved straight to the right of the road. The young boy, maybe 20 fell asleep, he woke in time to Gods hands resetting his course. We stopped beside him to make sure he was okay to drive, he said: "yeh; white as a ghost and did the gesture of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. I am happy to say he made to Cranbrook , as he pulled up beside us in his blazer with a cup of coffee in his hands. We prayed for him... to make it safely to his destination in Alberta. Its a scary thing when that happens, I am happy your family is strong -bonded, determined and your okay! God Bless! gnf
i just watched the movie again for the third time i am glad u was ok i had tears in my eyes i didnt understand why you just didnt take the time to call your parents why you where on the road or after you and that girlfriend got into it. that was a sign then something would go wrong. but i am glad your family stood by you like that that was a blessing.
Joe, I began praying , odd as it sounds, when the car was found and the young man portraying you in the movie was thought to be dead. I began to cry when it looked as though he was dead. I cried even harder when he moved his head and said,"mom". I know it was a movie about your story. I am so very happy you are alive. Losing someone is never a good thing. Family is so very important. Be blessed in your life and hang on to that amazing family of yours. Blessings, Angie Eberhart of Oregon, USA
